Minecraft is a game where players are free to do many things, ranging from being creative in building up to enhancing their experience by using mods and launchers.(I suppose I could, as an alternative, muck around with files to get ATLauncher to think the FTB instances are ones that it manages. any idea how I can get FTBLauncher` to give me the same style of scaling ATLauncher does? When I use FTB, however, it seems like Minecraft runs at my full desktop resolution - which then gets scaled down for steam streaming. It looks like Minecraft somehow gets actually sized to match my laptop's native resolution (which is less than my desktop's) and there's no noticeable lag in the stream or drop in framerate. When I stream ATLauncher and launch Minecraft, everything works right.
I have two non-steam games in my library: One for ATLauncher and one for FTBLauncher. It works well enough, but I've noticed a few oddities. So I've been dabbling with using Steam's in-home streaming to play Minecraft on my laptop (which definitely can't handle it) rather than my desktop (which can).
